 Tenteleni is currently recruiting project co-ordinators for its 2008 project in Kisumu, Kenya. Application forms should be sent to the Volunteer Manager on caroline.guest@tenteleni.org.uk as soon as possible, by 30th April at the latest.

A big thank you to Sean Cassidy (pictured with supporters Julie and Finlay) for running the Flora London Marathon 2008 on behalf of Tenteleni! He finished in the 4 hours, 2 minutes and 56 seconds. Congratulations for all his hard work training and gathering sponsorship.

The British 10K London Run

Are you up for the chance to take part in a 10K run through the heart of London? Tenteleni needs 6 volunteers to participate in this years run, which is on Sunday July 6th and starts at 9.35am. It’s a unique chance to take part in this occasion and raise much needed funds for Tenteleni at the same time! CHRISTMAS CARDS 

For the first time ever, Tenteleni is selling Christmas Cards for central fundraising this year! Packs of ten of the design below are going for £4.99/pack.  The cards read ‘Let it Snow!’ on the inside, and include the Tenteleni logo and website as well!  If you’re interested in purchasing any in support of Tenteleni, email Stacey Conner!

TENTELENI AND VSO

Many Tenteleni volunteers go on to volunteer with VSO, a leading international development charity that works through volunteers to tackle poverty. VSO has two exciting youth programmes for people aged 18-25 years old, and application has opened now! These projects are Global Xchange, a six month exchange programme, and Youth for Development, a one year overseas programme where volunteers work directly with organisations in the developing world.
